
Treaty Veterinary Clinic is made up of a small, friendly team of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses who make the care of your pet their priority.
John Garrahy
John qualified from University College Dublin in 1982. He established this practice in the 1986 and moved to these purpose-built premises in 1996.

John has lectured extensively at University of Limerick, in particular on Canine Husbandry and Equine Science (B.Eq.Sc). He has been nominated on a number of occasions for the Stronghold Pet Care Award. His particular interest is in canine and feline medicine and the injuries of the racing greyhound.
Aine Mullahy
Aine qualified from University College Dublin in 2006. She is originally from Co. Mayo where she worked in a mixed practice for one year after qualifying. Aine then worked in a small animal hospital in England for one year where she developed a keen interest in small animal work before joining Treaty Veterinary Clinic in 2009.

Aine has proved a valuable asset to our team and enjoys surgery and ultrasonography.
Aine lives in Nenagh with her fiancé, Eamon, as well as their dog and two cats, Cusco, Izzie and Blitz. In her spare time Aine enjoys walking and reading.
Karen Kennedy
Karen qualified as a veterinary nurse from University College Dublin in 2006. Karen carried out her three years of training in Treaty Veterinary clinic.

She has spent the last year traveling and spent six months working in one of the largest veterinary hospitals in Australia where she gained valuable experience in surgical nursing.
Karen has now returned to Treaty Veterinary Clinic and has a keen interest in radiology and veterinary physiotherapy.
In her spare time Karen enjoys horse riding and spending time with her two dogs Lucy and Leisha.
Caroline Mc Clure
Caroline is our student veterinary nurse who joined Treaty Veterinary Clinic in 2007. Caroline is currently studying in St. John’s Central College, Cork and will continue to carry out her practical training with Treaty Veterinary Clinic.

Caroline has a keen interest in medical nursing and also enjoys playing a huge role in the rehabilitation of sick and injured stray animals. In her spare time Caroline enjoys hill walking and spending time with her two rescued dogs, “Buddy” and “Loughie”.
Marese McDonnell
Marese who is originally from Athy, Co. Kildare, qualified from University College Dublin in 1990. After working with Treaty Veterinary Clinic for four years, she moved to London in order that she could further her knowledge and skills with regard to small animal medicine. In 1996, she returned to Limerick and rejoined the clinic as Head of Small Animal Surgery.
Marese has received several nominations for the Stronghold Pet Care Award over the years. She became the Inaugural National Winner in 2000 and she was presented with the Perpetual Stronghold Veterinary Pet Care Trophy.
Marese is currently carrying undertaking post graduate study in Small Animal Surgery.
Tracy Marlow
Tracy qualified in 1995 from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, London, whilst working in Earlswood Veterinary Hospital, Belfast. She joined our practice in October 1996 and since her arrival she has proved to be an invaluable asset. She is always available to discuss problems with clients. She is a qualified Pet Health Counsellor with a special interest in dietary management and the care of geriatric patients.

Tracy conducts Weight and After 8 clinics. She also has a keen interest in laboratory work and radiology.
Amie Maguire
Amie qualified as a veterinary nurse from Athlone Institute of Technology in 2008 and joined our nursing team in 2009.

Amie has a keen interest in surgical nursing and anesthesia.
In her spare time Amie enjoys following gaelic football, swimming and spending time with her many rescued animals at home! Amie also has a particular interest in caring for retired and injured greyhounds.
